Hans Küng
On October, 27th 2001 Prof. Hans Kueng has been awarded with the Planetary Ethics Prize of the Club of Budapest for his achievements in world ethos. The former laureates of the different Planetary Consciousness Awards were Vaclav Havel, Michail Gorbatchev, Muhammad Yuunus, Huschmand Sabet, Desmond Tutu, Kofi Annan and Shimon Peres. This years prize award will take place in Neuen Schloss in Stuttgart. The capital Stuttgart and the government of Baden-Württemberg will host this prize award together with the Club of Budapest.
In his laudatio Prof. Ervin Laszlo will pay tribute to Prof. Hans Kueng for his extraordinary achievements in worldwide interreligious dialogue. Prof. Laszlo will also go into the actual events after September 11th, which make Hans Kuengs work even more necessary.
